What the hell is this man?

Twins was born out of the desire to make people laugh, to give them something light-hearted but
substantial to reflect on and, at the same time, to put a smile on their faces.
While attempting to instil the whole project with some kind of message, I wanted to give free rein to
irony, paradox and ridicule to tell a story that is, in fact, hugely relevant and fully rooted in the here
and now.

So what?

The first novel provoked a lot of reactions, many of which encouraged me to continue and stick to
this approach, incorporating a 'hidden' message within the story of each book.
Twins, then, is just the opening act in a much more complex adventure, with both social and
emotional implications, where the driving force characterizing the whole project will be paradox,
absurdity, comedy.... basically, a healthy dose of laughter.

Ah, perhaps not as trashy as it sounded! So what’s next?

D***y - this is the title of the second instalment - takes the central theme of the story to a more
concrete, practical level, through the protagonist's adventure of growing up; between gunfights and
frantic escapes, it becomes evident that what emerged in the first novel is, indeed, reality, on an
everyday, practical, tangible level that we all experience. Thus, no longer willing to accept his
condition, the protagonist begins to react, to change himself, and finds himself making a drastic
choice in order to survive and have sufficient capabilities to defeat the evil that has long subdued
him.

The point of union between the two occurs not only as the previous story is expanded on, but also as
the protagonist is brought closer to the main character of the first novel. In this way the first two 
volumes begin to merge with each other and hint at the overarching aspect to the story
and the duality of the main figures.

When you put it like that, it sounds far too serious...

The hallmark of the series continues to be comedy and paradox, peppered with delirious scenes that
often leave the reader stunned and pleasantly perplexed, while maintaining levity as a vehicle for the
message and providing some respite from the seriously raw tone of some parts.

And what about the future?

If TWINS has been called a mix between "Mission Impossible" and "The Hangover", then get ready,
because in D***y things have been taken to an even higher level! A number of decidedly unlikely and
grotesque characters have been brought together in an adventure that turns them into a close-knit
unit: From the 80s van with the red-eyed hippies to Buzzy, the friend with serious problems and a
psychedelic past whose reasoning and insightfulness only appear when stoned; from Tiffy, a woman
so charming and cunning that she could bewitch even Medusa herself, to the brothers Rob and Bob,
in their denim dungarees with guns in hand, always ready to chug as many beers as possible... you're
sure to find a character to put a smile on your face.

So there’ll be more books?:

Yes! The project will continue with the release, in due course, of the novel that will lead to the end of
the adventure...
Although I should actually say novels (you’ll understand what I mean if you follow progress via my
periodic posts here on the website or on social media) because in my world I don’t do things the
normal way.
